In this masterclass Anetta offers you to explore the fundamental principles of the art of mime by presenting the technique of body development by Etienne Decroux and modern interpretation by the Kyiv Mime School.

This masterclass will give an in-depth view into the unique working methods of Virág Dezső with emphasis on the interconnections between music, dance and pedagogy as three ideal components within the field of mime.

This master class provides an inspiring platform for enriching your understanding and skills in Mime and Physical Theatre. We will focus on making visible the things in us that are invisible: expressing our inner world of thoughts, feelings and abstract ideas through movement.

During my class I’ll focus on sharing my practice and my way of creating a performance using corporeal mime techniques as a base.

Join us for a talk with national and international artists on how they “write” plays without necessarily “writing” anything at all (in the traditional sense).

Having curated a program of short films by directors across the globe who purposely work with the body as filmic object/potential we are delighted to gain further insight into their perspectives through a panel talk with the invited directors.

Theatre and dance critics are invited to this talk to delve into the nooks and crannies of what it is to write about a piece of theatre that defies traditional dramaturgical narratives and/or references.
