Storytelling through mime
In this masterclass Anetta offers you to explore the fundamental principles of the art of mime by presenting the technique of body development by Etienne Decroux and modern interpretation by the Kyiv Mime School.
You will learn and try basic exercises from mime corporeal technique, simple and complex types of movements, principles of identification, metamorphosis and transformation and other unique tools.
Through improvisational practice you will explore different elements from nature, structures and emotions in order to create your own story using only body expression.

Anetta Aleksandra Anisimova
Anetta is a Ukrainian mime, actress and dancer based in Norway. She graduated from the Academy of Circus and Performing Arts in Kyiv. Back in Ukraine she was a member of the ILINASTROE team and nowadays she is a participant of Katma theater, Frikar dance company, Global ensemble theatre and works on her own mime projects in Norway. Anetta has more than 8 years of experience in mime. She took part in mime festivals with her solo and workshops across Europe. She also combines dance and gymnastics in her performances.
