”When the mime gets up humanity rises”– Étienne Decroux.

A crash course inspired by this vision of theatre.
An introduction into the formulated and articulated movement: Perspective, technique, poetry and imagination.

Ika Nord is a mime artist, actress, director and clown. She was the special student of Étienne Decroux, a professional street performer in Europe and had her own clown show for kids on TV. She writes, directs and choreographs for theatre, opera and cabaret and also works as an actress in theatre and on film.

Ika Nord är mimartist, skådespelerska, clown och regissör. Hon har varit särskild elev till Étienne Decroux och professionell gatuartist i Europa. Hon skriver, regisserar och koreograferar samt gör egna föreställningar i gränslandet mellan teater, mim och dans.

Ibland tillsammans med ett populärt skelett som heter Åke. Hon undervisar i mim på alla nivåer och skådespelar även på film, teater och TV.
